Gigi Vigliani was born in Rome and after leaving school he worked for some time in sales. But his natural talent was always ready to explode – one evening, singing for fun with friends, Gigi found he was such a success that he was forced ‘to take himself seriously’. The first steps in his artistic career date from 1983, starting with performances in small venues and eventually branching into special events linked to company communication and marketing activities.
Today he is one of the most popular artists on the convention circuit for top companies, such as Mediolanum, Ferrari, Mondadori, L’Oreal, Eni, Vodafone, Allianz and many others.
Over the years he has made numerous TV appearances in Italy and live shows all over the country and abroad in:
His work in theatre includes plays performed in Rome – “Beware of Imitations”, “Continue to be Wary of Imitations”, “The Portable Record Player” – plays of which he was the author, director and sole performer.
He was also a great success in the Mediolanum Tour throughout Italy where he paired up with many of country’s most popular singers. Other significant appearances include the RAI TV show Vita in Diretta during the Sanremo Song Festival week and shows organized at the arrival of stages in the Giro d’Italia cycling event in 2000, 2003 and 2004.
